I have enjoyed having a ready model - and, happily, a smiley one. I get to try out all sorts of photo ideas on her. It inspires me for my sessions.

Yes, a pregnancy announcement!

I had a blank onesie and some fabric markers from when we announced our pregnancy with her, so I wrote "only child" on it, and then crossed it off with a permanent marker and wrote "oldest."

She looks happy about the idea, although she has no idea what's going on.

She'll be about 17 months when the baby is born. We're looking forward to seeing her with the baby - she loves babies now, even though she is one herself.

And I am looking forward to trying out sibling photos!

And newborn photos again...

So, if anyone has good news of a new baby, I'm in baby mode over here and I'd love to do some more announcement photos...
