Beach Baby

Marie likes the water. The only time she has cried getting a bath, after the first one or two, is when she was already upset. Usually, she looks quite content and seems to enjoy the water.

At less than four months, she has already stuck her toes in three of the Great Lakes.

Lake Erie was not her favorite, as it was quite cold at the time and she cried. It wasn't our favorite either, though, since there were foggy swarms of mayflies, but that's another story.

Last week, my mother, sisters, and I took a girls' trip to Lake Huron. Naturally, it turned into a photo shoot. Including luring seagulls into the background.

A seat was created in the sand for her...

and sunglasses given.

They were a bit large.

Everybody likes a beach baby!

As much fun as a day at the beach is, beach babies get tired eventually.

At the end of this beach session, I left wanting to do more. Too bad we don't live closer to a beach. But if you really want some beach photos, we might be able to work something out. Because who wouldn't enjoy a day at the beach?
